I just mentally designed my own grocery store. I'm gonna build it and everyone will shop there. I will become rich and powerful and someone is watching me type this and screwing up my train of thought.
Anyway, in my store, when you locate the eggs, which will be easy since they will be in the BREAKFAST section, you will find the bacon right next to them. There will be bread and bagels there next to jelly and cream cheese, and so forth.
Now, this layout would obviously require some items to be in more than one place, but this is why my store is better. Current thinking on grocery store stocking is designed to make it easier for the employees to stock stuff, and harder for the shoppers to assemble what they need to make meals. My store would be the opposite. It might cost me a little more to do it that way, but the volume of people that would come to my store because it's so easy for them would more than make up for that, and I wouldn't have to charge any more than anyone else.
Let's call this millionaire maker idea #1001.
